"Last night I dreamt I went to Manderley again."

Our latest campaign, Manderley, takes its name from the opening passage of Daphne du Maurier's famous 1938 novel Rebecca. The passage tells of a dream of a haunting and beautiful overgrown garden at the Manderley Estate.
The vivid descriptions in this passage inspired the garments for the collection, and we drew on Manderley's gothic-type jungle of wild foliage and dreamy colours for our imagery.
Ivy Robe: Ivy held prior place in this lost garden, the long strands crept across the lawns.
Sadie Silk Bralette in silver: "I could see the sheet of silver placid under the moon, like a lake undisturbed by wind or storm." (pictured above)
Larkspur Robe: "I would think of the blown lilac, and the Happy Valley. These things were permanent, they could not be dissolved."
Euphemia Silk Slip in grey "..the grey stone shining in the moonlight of my dream, the mullioned windows reflecting the green lawns and the terrace." View garment
The decade this best-selling novel was published is also dear to our hearts at Now or Never. The 1930s have always been an inspiration for many of our designs: an era when lingerie became less restrictive and celebrated natural silhouettes. Check out the story behind our popular Euphemia Slip.
